Really friendly and helpful staff, great food, and overall a warm and inviting atmosphere! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to crash while hiking through the Dolomites.
Very welcoming rifugio. Great hospitality. The manager was very helpful in arranging transport for us during a storm. The view from the rifugio is stunning as well.
Rofugio Aquiliea was a nice surprise in the tiring trail of Alta Via 1. It was small and cosy, and we got a pretty nice private room with a toilet and shower included (quite a luxury given the limited resources of Alta Via 1 Rifugio). Extra points for its owner Omar who drove us to the Staulanza neck after discovering that the shortcut trail he recommended us was blocked by the maintenance staff.
last rifugio in our trek. the room was the largest and most equipped from the 5 we went through in this journey. room and private bathroom was clean and very comfortable. good wifi. great food & service.
Great food, friendly atmosphere, lovely views. Would definitely recommend!
Did not like this Refugio at all. The ambiance was like attending a funeral. Service was not friendly. Food average, room was small for the 4 of us.
Nice Rifugio. Well located. Good dinner. Kindness. Nice views.
The staff makes you feel welcomed right from the entrance, I stayed for 3 nights and ate their dinners, which were very good (pierogis with beefroot in butter were my favourite). The prices are very competitive and only 8 euros more than camping in Cortina, that I’ve spent my first night on. In overall, I’m totally recommending this place.
Aaahh, the views around - simply amazing!
